Apple TV is a digital media player and microconsole developed and sold by Apple Inc. It is a small network appliance and entertainment device that can receive digital data from a number of sources and stream it to a television or other display. Apple TV is available in two models: Apple TV HD, which supports 1080p video and Dolby Digital Plus 7.1 surround sound, and Apple TV 4K, which supports 4K resolution and Dolby Atmos surround sound. Both models come with a Siri-powered remote control and offer access to a variety of streaming services, such as Netflix, Hulu, and Apple Arcade, as well as content from the iTunes Store and other apps. Apple TV also has AirPlay, a feature that allows users to wirelessly stream audio and video from their iOS or macOS devices to their TV.
